West Palm Beach, Florida (May 11, 2017) – Speedlogix and Stevens-Miller Racing have expanded their partnership, and reveal preliminary graphics of the three car team to debut at Road Atlanta for the Drift Atlanta event presented by Papa Johns, May 11-13, 2017.
Speedlogix has been a leader in aftermarket performance parts for the Dodge Challenger for over a decade, and its motorsport division, Speedlogix Racing, is quickly approaching its second year in age and is determined to use the TransAm Racing Series Presented by Pirelli Tire to further test and develop its racing products. “The competitive race environment of TransAm TA2 is like no other”, says Joe Stevens, owner of Stevens-Miller Racing. “Together, we take advantage of every competitive opportunity we can find for our cars’ performance and reliability. If the Speedlogix products we use on our race cars can handle the grueling sprints of TransAm racing, you know they are ready for the street.”
“We are thrilled to renew and expand our partnership with the Stevens-Miller Racing team to help keep Dodge Challengers competing in the TA2 series of TransAm racing“, said Lisa Wall, Founder and Owner of Speedlogix. “The ability to use the track time of the race Challengers to test products for the street Challengers gives us a unique advantage in our product development process. We aim to bring innovation and ideas from the race track to the aftermarket, and bring the enthusiast community to the race track to help grow the awareness of Dodge Challengers in TransAm racing.”
Joe further stated, “It’s an honor to continue our collaboration with Speedlogix and serve as a test avenue for their performance product developments. As they grow, so do we, and together we aim for the same great results. For Stevens-Miller Racing, this partnership delivers a unique opportunity to assist in the development of products for the racing enthusiast and that’s something very special to us. After all, enthusiasts are what we are at heart.”
Stevens-Miller Racing will campaign both the #77 and the #12 Dodge Challengers at this weekend’s event, driven by Jordan Bernloehr and Sheldon Creed, respectively. Look for Jordan to continue his pursuit of championship points, and although Sheldon is new to both TA2 and Road Atlanta, his extensive racing background and the championship history of the Stevens-Miller team could make this a very exciting debut.
