Like all of our parts our 6-speed transmission crossmember is designed using 4130 Chro-Moly tubing for a very light (3lbs which is half the weight of the stock unit) yet stronger and more rigid part. By welding the tubes to gusseted angle we were able to greatly increase the strength both vertically and horizontally.
